Back into the forest

For the past two years, I have spent much of my student life in the lush tropical jungles of Pajam.

 ...
In this remote location, I was forced to eat horrible tasting, badly cooked food.
I learnt to hand wash my own clothing.
I learnt to survive all elements that could possibly be thrown at me.

I fought off plagues of wild insects and huddled in rundown shelter so as to avoid the torrential downpours.
The nights were harsh, hot and humid. Bloodsucking mosquitoes would often come in swarms, relishing the blood of unsuspecting humans. The constant sound of crickets kept us calm as dead silence would have been ominous.

I braved the suffering with a group of other people. Some could not handle the difficult lifestyle in the wild and so were rescued and returned to civilisation. However for those who remained and plodded on, I eventually formed strong bonds of friendship with them.

...

And there too, I learnt Biology, Music, Mathematics, Chemistry and a variety of other subjects.

Yes, indeed this remote location bears a name.

C1 and C2 exams are tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Hello World

Watch and behold before you the young beginnings of a new blog. It is anybody's guess where this goes, like a million other ones, down into trash after a few drab and dreary posts or perhaps to a somewhat respectable status. I suppose everyone else goes through a "blogging phase" and some pull through with it long into their career whilst others don't. Oh well, I guess this is one of those phases.

Yeah that guy on the left is... not me. I'm the one in grey.

I do take much of my inspiration from Kenny Sia and his amazing success in the blogging community. It is sad however to see him now, much more commercialised with every other post an advert and little time spent on his more personal posts. Then again, his blogging has definitely boosted his career and brought him many places he would not otherwise have had.

Much of my future blogging content is undecided as of now, but I will try to be relevant to what is current and well, include my own brand of randomness, which may or may not include horny cows.

It really does look like a *horny stare*

Additionally, I'd like to remind readers and those who know me that, my postings may not reflect events in chronological order. For example I may decide to document my UK trip which commenced 3 months ago.

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the read; stay if you like, stay away if you don't and have a good 2010!
